St. John Bosco Conference
Every summer, Franciscan University of Steubenville hosts some of the most educational and inspirational conferences available. Their “St. John Bosco Conference” is specifically for catechists and religious educators, and we encourage you to attend! This year’s Bosco conference is July 16-19, on the theme, “Holy Spirit: Bond of Love.” With over 110 workshops to choose from, there is something for everyone! Whether you’re involved in campus ministry, parish religious education, RCIA, youth ministry, or Catholic schools, you will find something to build you up and strengthen you for ministry. In addition, you will receive 10 credits in Vocare. Register by April 6 for “early bird” pricing. A limited number of partial scholarships are also available from the OED. For more information and to register, go to https://steubenvilleconferences.com/adult/sjb/.
National Ministry Networks
Ministry Networks are sponsored by the NFCYM to support the development of the field of youth and young adult ministry through ongoing conversations centering around current issues, struggles, strategies, and best practices. The moderators for each Network use online apps (Zoom, Facebook, Google Groups, etc...) to gather interested colleagues together around pertinent topical areas to share, resource, discuss, and ask questions among others within the network. There is no cost to be involved in a Ministry Network, just a commitment to be responsive to others in the Network. You may join as many Networks as you wish.
