Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR
Father Dave Pivonka, TOR, is as an evangelist who speaks at conferences, retreats and parish missions around the U.S. and world. For twenty years Fr. Dave has also been leading pilgrimages around the world to some of the holiest and most important sites in our Christian faith. He spends much of his time helping others come to know God's love for them through his preaching, writings, CDs, and other spiritual outreaches.
Fr. Dave has written several books; Spiritual Freedom - God’s Life Changing Gift; Hiking the Camino - 500 Miles with Jesus, Encounter Jesus - From Discovery to Discipleship and most recently, Breath of God. Fr. Dave is also responsible for The Wild Goose - a 14 part video series which explores what it is to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Currently, Fr. Dave is the Director of Franciscan Pathways which is an evangelistic outreach of his Franciscan Community.
Archbishop Dennis Schnurr
Most Reverend Dennis Marion Schnurr, the tenth ordinary (diocesan bishop) of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, has a distinguished background as a canon lawyer, diocesan administrator, member of the papal nuncio’s staff, organizer of the first World Youth Day, and general secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Archbishop Schnurr was born in Sheldon, Iowa, on June 21, 1948. He studied for the priesthood at the North American College and the Gregorian University, both in Rome, and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Sioux City on July 20, 1974. He was named the eighth bishop of the Diocese of Duluth on Jan. 18, 2001 and ordained bishop April 2, 2001. Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Coadjutor Archbishop of Cincinnati on Oct. 17, 2008. He became Archbishop of Cincinnati on Dec. 21, 2009, when Pope Benedict accepted the resignation of his predecessor, Most Rev. Daniel E. Pilarczyk.
