My name is Michael James Mette and I'm a Catholic performing artist. I have a unique ministry in that I tour full-time with my wife and our seven children. Over the past 5 years, we have ministered all over the country traveling to 44 states and growing into a Catholic family band, MJM7.
Our primary ministry is performing evening shows open to the entire parish that are at the intersection of the Church and culture. Often times, these are hosted by the youth group to give the larger parish a feel for the energy and excitement of the young church. We bring our own sound, light show, and video projection. My daughters perform with me (guitar, keys, violin, & drums). My wife, Michelle also shares part of our testimony. We try to have something for everyone. To cover our expenses we typically take up a collection during the concert. MJM7.band has all of the information about our live events.
We have several dates in November and December available. Those weekends are November 11th, 18th and December 2nd and 9th. Often we will be present at the weekend Masses to play a communion meditation and make a personal invitation to the evening concert.
