In a culture blinded by pornography, we're claiming that if we aren't addressing the porn-issue, we're not actually evangelizing. Join us for a powerful day of presentations by Fr. Sean Kilcawley, Diocesan Director of the Office of Family Life for the Diocese of Lincoln and program director for Integrity Restored, as we dig into the issue of pornography, its deep effects on the human person, what Theology of the Body has to say about it, and approaches and strategies for intervention.
Fr. Sean Kilcawley graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1996 with a BS in Middle East Foreign Area Studies. After serving for three years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army he entered St Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward Nebraska as a pre-theologian for the Diocese of Lincoln, NE. Fr. Kilcawley earned a Masters of Divinity and a STB from St Charles Borromeo Seminary in 2005 and then served the diocese of Lincoln for four years as a High School teacher of religion and parochial vicar. In 2013, Fr. Kilcawley completed an STL (summa cum laude) at the John Paul II institute for marriage and family in Rome. He currently serves as Diocesan Director of the Office of Family Life for the Diocese of Lincoln.

Nova is a day-long formation retreat that takes place at the beginning of each semester for youth ministers, campus ministers, and volunteers. Nova provides a powerful opportunity for ministers to gather for fellowship, prayer, and practical formation that has a direct bearing on carrying out their ministry.
The day progresses through a series of topics that aim to experientially build a foundation on which a youth or campus minister can discern God’s will for carrying out youth evangelization and discipleship at their parish or school.
