Brad Bursa is the Director of the Office for Youth Evangelization and Discipleship, and was previously the Director of Youth Ministry at St. Gertrude Parish in Cincinnati. He and his wife Katie have five children. Brad is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in 2008 (English/Theology) and his Master's in 2014 (Theology and Christian Ministry). Brad enjoys reading and studying theology, reading novels and poetry, listening to classical music, drinking coffee, and playing sports (he is particularly gifted in defeating his children in wrestling). Rod Dunlap is the Associate Director of Sports Ministry. Previously he was the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at St. John the Baptist -- Dry Ridge. Rod and his wife Maria have five children. He is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Mount St. Joseph University where he received a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies. Matt Reinkemeyer is the Associate Director for Missionary Outreach in the Office for Youth Evangelization and Discipleship. Before taking up his new post with the Archdiocese, Matt served as the High School Youth Minister at St. Margaret of York in Loveland. He and his wife Jen have three children, Isabelle, Isaac, and Ria. Matt spent time at Conception Seminary College and a community college before earning his Bachelor's Degree in 2012 from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Theology/Catechetics/Youth Ministry. Laura Potter is the Associate Director-VIA Missionaries. Her mission in life is to become who God has created her to be and to help others do the same. Laura began living this mission on her High School Campus in Logan, OH, also known as the beautiful Hocking Hills. She then served for two years as a NET (National Evangelization Team) Missionary, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Catechetics with a minor in Sacred Music from Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH, and worked for two years at a Catholic boarding school in California. She has spent the last seven years as the Youth Minister at St Mary Parish in Littleton, CO serving both Middle School and High School youth and families. Laura is excited to be back in her home state inviting youth to join on the way of Christ with the VIA Missionaries and Archdiocese of Cincinnati staff. You may see her rollerblading along the Ohio river trail, eating at every Cincinnati restaurant or café that is recommended to her, or singing and playing guitar in the AOC offices.
Alex Venturato is coordinating the social media and web presence for the Office for Youth Evangelization and Discipleship. She comes to this role after four years as the Director of Jr. High Youth Ministry at St. Ignatius Loyola. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 2012 completing a Bachelor's degree in Education with concentrations in Religious Studies, Language Arts, and Catechetics.
